July 10 — Sept 2, 2026Curves is an expansive line of contemporary and postmodern homeware objects, founded in Toronto by Sean Brown, Iva Golubovic and Zachary Aburaneh.
The brand’s breakout collection of handmade, CD-shaped rugs contrasts the image of obsolete technology with the lasting impact of art, paying tribute to Brown’s favourite albums. What began as an attempt to infuse interiors with culture has expanded to include furniture, lighting and everyday homeware essentials.
Most recently, the brand’s signature knit tote, now approaching cult status, has brought colour, function and self-expression beyond the home. From its mindset to its designs, Curves occupies an aesthetic that feels both aspirational and familiar.
At the core of Curves’ creativity and modernity is an observant curiosity about the worlds of design and culture. Through product design and packaging, Curves aims to break from the monotony of urban design and encourage individual expression.
Its mission is to use art and functionality to evoke self-expression and retrace the details that shape personal taste.
The Curves ethos is rooted in the belief that design is not linear. It curves in both its expression and intention. Function can cross paths with whimsy, just as form can cross paths with play.
